Beetroot Halwa recipe:
The uncertainity of ingredients used in shops, no matter how delicious the sweets & snacks may be, have always helped me to focus on easy to make recipes at home.
1 cup grated beetroot
2 tblspn ghee
4 tblspn sugar
3/4 cup milk
Nuts for topping(optional)
1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated beetroot to the ghee and sauté it for 2 minutes in a medium flame.
2. Now add milk and sauté until all the milk is absorbed.
3. Add the sugar and sauté until oil separates from the sides. Switch of the stove.
4. Crush cardamom(else 1/4 tspn cardamom powder an be used) and add to the sweet
5.Top it with roasted nuts of your desire.
