Baby Corn Fry
This a quick make, delicious recipe – Kids would love it. You could eat this as a starter or as a evening snack.
4-5 baby corn (pressure cook and cut length wise)
1 tbl spn: Chilli powder
1/4 tspn : Turmeric powder
1/2 tbl spn: ginger garlic paste
1 tbl spn : rice flour
3 tbl spn : corn flour
salt to taste
1. Pressure cook the baby corn and cut it into pieces – lenghtwise. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, rice flour, corn flour, salt to baby corn pieces and mix well in a bowl. Keep it aside for 20 mins for the baby corn to marinate
2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry baby corn. Make sure the oil is hot enough and when you add the baby corns to the oil, keep it in medium flame and fry. Note that if the oil is too hot, it might burn the masala mixed baby corn.
3. When the baby corn turns golden brown, transfer it to a bowl after staining the oil completely. You would get a nice crispy layer coated baby corns ready to be eaten
